Coffee on the Corner with a Touch of Sophistication
With the level of sophistication that Cafe 3.1.6 exudes, it's no wonder that the coffee house has partnered with our production team to bring programs featuring music, interviews and political discussion to downtown Monterey.
Through out modern history, coffee houses have been flash points for artistic creativity and inspired thought. Performers such as Joan Baez and Bob Dylan began their careers in coffee houses. The great insurance company Lloyds of London was formed at a coffee house, and coffee houses have hosted political gatherings since the first coffee houses were established over 500 years ago. It's doubtful, however, that any have blended such a high level of sophistication, comfort, and service into the creative mystic as has Cafe 3.1.6.
What you'll find in the preview above is a mix of music and interview. The video was produced during our technical rehearsal during which our very own Natalie McKean hosted the talented local artist Leonardo Buscemi, who performed his original music.
